Koncir Automotive – Simcoe

Koncir Automotive  – Owners Gary and Heather Koncir
CL Access is pleased to share with our readers and fellow supporters a little bit about our wonderful partnership with Gary & Heather and the Koncir family.

Koncir Automotive has supported our agency through the purchase and services of the agency's vehicles and various sponsorships.  We are honored to showcase them through our webpage called EYE on Business.

Koncir Automotive was established in September 1993 by Gary and Heather Koncir and has been proudly serving Norfolk County for over 25 years.  This family owned and operated business strives to supply Simcoe and surrounding areas with the highest quality previously owed vehicles, alongside the best automotive service in the area.

Upon opening its doors, Gary and Heather had a hard road ahead of them as young entrepreneurs. Starting a business with the odds of failure at 8:10 was a looming thought, but the couple persevered.  Opening day came, Gary and Heather were proud to start serving Norfolk County with their fully equipped two-bay Automotive shop located at 64 Queensway West.  By spring of 1994 the business had already outgrown this location, and moved Koncir Automotive to 447 Queensway West.  After a successful six years in business at this six-bay shop, Gary and Heather decided to make their biggest change with their budding company in the year 2000. The couple purchased a lot located at 425 Queensway West and built their own nine-bay shop (where they still proudly serve today).

Today Koncir Automotive has a highly qualified team of 12 employees, backed by family in management, which has been an integral part of the business’s success. An additional alignment bay, wash bay, and an inventory of over 45 used cars have been added since opening in 1993.  This ever-expanding business prides itself on being family owned and operated.

Gary and Heather also enjoy giving back to their community through Koncir Automotive sponsorships and support of several local “not-for-profit” organizations, and community events.  They have ongoing sponsorships with Simcoe Minor Hockey, Simcoe and District Soccer, Simcoe Minor Baseball, Simcoe Lawn Bowling, Cystic Fibrosis, Children’s Aid, "Little Dreams Big Dreams", Community Living Access, Camp Trillium, South West Ontario Youth for Christ, and many more.

After serving Norfolk County for over 25 years Gary, Heather and Family are still determined to provide exceptional quality of service for a long time to come. Here’s to another 25 years!
